Saw that the alpha tech seat is available on their website for $30. Was wondering if anyone has any feedback on whether the seat is comfortable or not?

I think they are very comfy but, I have troubles with my seat staying up since it is so thick.

Do you mean staying on the stand? I'm not sure what you mean by up

He means when you stand up and flip the seat up so it leans against the tree. With the thicker pad the seat won't go totally vertical and may have a tendency to fall back down.

Personally I've never had an issue with the stock LW seats and have sat in them on many all-day sits. That's just me though.

Tighten the bolt. It will stay up if you tighten it a bit.

I don't think the seat is uncomfortable, however, my rump goes numb after a while and I do have to stand so I'm trying to minimize any movement.

The bolt it moves on I'm assuming? Will be sitting in mine this weekend and would love to adjust that.
