Tulsa couple here. My wife is a transplanted NorCal girl, and decided she wants to learn to shoot a bow and take a whitetail next year!!!!! Any fellow Okies want to recommend a good started bow for her? She's a small (5'03") chick. I'm planning on getting a new 3D target for backyard practice once Spring returns (she's not liking the cold snap we're currently having LOL). Anyway, anyone who has suggestions, she is all ears, so send them this way, please.

    Welcome to the site!

Bowhunting can be a little more challenging down there compared to east of OKC where there are plenty of trees to post up in.

    Do you have a plan?

    15 days!

They have been mostly nocturnal the last week or 2 because of the heat, and they aren't having to travel at all. So many acorns that they can just eat wherever. That's my thought anyway

Cleaned up? Man. The areas I hunt you can't walk for the acorns. Every tree in the woods seems to have produced
