I can't get the image to attach in a PM, so I'll leave it here. We'll just have to save it to our computers and change it that way.

Went to the archery shop today and had to have my draw length reduced 1/2 inch. But good to go on broad heads now!

any particular reason why you reduced 1/2 inch? or just wanted to see if it felt better?

I recently had a drop away installed and we tried extending it. The bow shot perfectly the past month...with field points. Sunday I finally started using a broadhead and with my arrow length, the broad head would back into the rest and raise the arrow up. Which would shoot erratically. So messing with my draw length in the first place just wasn't worth it.

Anybody doing anything this weekend to get ready for the season? I will likely have just enough time to get some shooting in. It's starting to cool off so I really want to walk the archery course by my house.

Most of my weekend will be spent butchering chickens however.

While reorganizing my freezer this past week I noticed I'm down to my last few venison steak packages in there. Thinking I may want to try something new with them, what is your favorite venison steak recipe? I normally just cook them in a pan in butter but I do like canned venison, a stir fry and my tenderloin wrapped in bacon

Have u ever tried to blacken your steaks, I've done it before and liked it. Gotta have a good cast iron skillet and make sure it's searing hot.

This weekend I'll be shooting again. I may hang my lifeline and bow hook in the new tree I'll be using my climber on opening day. Then again it will be hot and I may not want my scent all around there stirring it up. Also laundry.

This weekend, I'm going to relax and handle some things around the house. I'll run some laundry and finish locking down my hunting plans for the final weekend.

If I have time, I'd like to get out and hang a couple stands and check on my cams. 19 days!
