After a good 6 months of begging my wife to put my biggest buck in the living room because I love deer that are high up on the wall she finally said ok(after some promised hunny do things lol) my game room is a little crowded as it is and I've always want my biggest buck to where I can see them all the time:) so this is him now in the livingroom on the wall going up my bedroom stairs livingroom1.jpg livingroom2.jpg What do you rather them low or high and do you think it makes a difference?

I have 7' ceilings so I don't have much in way of options,.

I have a high ceiling with a wall of game, the bucks always get the best spots.

If I had the option, I'd probably use the entire space, both high and low. My living room has eight deer hanging in it and it's not a very large room.

I would prefer lower on the wall... Because the rack is too big to go up any higher...!

I had mine low. Then i moved and put it higher (cathedral ceiling). Looks better higher but you cant go too high. You still wanna be able to see the details.

I like to stack them... I want to see as many as possible in one glance.

So my answer is I like both equally.

    Depends on the mount.

My second buck from last year didn't have real impressive tine length. He did have awesome heavy main beams and a good spread though. He's got an upward head position showing off the main beams from underneath and is positioned pretty high on the wall and he looks great that way.

My first buck from last year has a normal semi-sneak 6900 form and based on his higher rack I feel like he'd be more impressive if he sat lower on the wall. Hopefully I tag out again this year and get both mounted so I have an excuse to rearrange him.

Not sure, I don't have a buck on the wall. The 2 bucks that I have had opportunities at that I consider wall mounters I screwed up on both of them and didn't seal the deal.

I have vaulted ceilings. I put the latest buck in the low position next to the fireplace. The other two are higher on the wall. I have my two euro mounts on opposite wall at eye level.

The bucks I've taken make better hat racks than trophies! (Read: live in Florida!)

I like them low where you can see them up close and personal. A couple of my favorite mounts are on pedestals sitting on the floor. Unless we are talking elk and moose. They look good up higher. Just my personal preference.

Depends on the rack and mount. Either way, they go where I want. Told the lady that from the start and I will not allow that to change lol
