    I wasn't planning on hunting early season much but it seems like I may have a decent chance of seeing one of these shooters at my in-laws.

    When does your season start? If it was early September I'd definitely be out before the velvet falls off and they change patterns.

    Early season is tough with the hot weather but if you can pattern a buck the odds are much better.

    Yup i killed one of my best bucks on Oct 17 2012. It was 84 deg. And i almost turned around and went home after getting suited up with sweat rolling off my forehead. Good thing i said eff it and decided to hunt !
