Only one buck on the hitlist thus far, but there were a ton of 2.5 yo buck running around last year. If any of them stuck around, our local doe herd is sure to bring them by :tu:

    Cautiously optimistic this season

Unfortunately, I can't shoot does again this year.

I have a few hit list bucks but it will be a matter of how much time I can get out to my parents place in the western part of Wisconsin. I have a cam sitting right smack in the middle of a swamp since the middle of July I am waiting to pull and see what I got. I will try later to get some still pictures from when I was out there then from video I have taken.

We're a bit late this year and do not start until the 19th of Sept. I can't wait!

dbl lung checking in from Western WI. Ill be hunter WI and IA this year. Have some real good deer on camera on 4 different farms. ill post pictures when I get some time. I will say they have to be 160 to shoot in IA where I am hunting. I struggle this time of year with estimated what I have due to the velvet. I always say a buck looses 10 to 15 percent of the big look when the velvet comes off and that is hard to judge. Good Luck to everyone.

    I like both of those.

    A couple more:
    Whitetail Warriors
Spike Camp (with a spike buck as part of the logo)
    Buck Busters

With being team 25, is there anything that we can use as a team name with "quarter" in it? Possibly Quarter Tines or .........??!?!??!!

I'm good with any of those names.
Not sure if the weather got the deer out tonight early but may have just had the majority of what show up on my one cam regularly out as a group sparring and playing. The nice 8, (110+), two small maybe 8s, and a few small, forks and spikes with a few does. got to watch that and record with the hand cam anyway. Considering how dead it's been im calling that a highlight for the summer so far for sights.

This weather is sure making me antsy. Feels like I should be hunting. Well for a little intro since you guys may not recognize me. My names Skyler. I am attending South Dakota State this fall. I'm majoring in animal and fisheries sciences (wildlife biology). I've been internet scouting pretty hard and have a few spots I'm thinking of going. Will have to look into them here in the next couple weeks before season starts. I'm pretty sure I'll be good for a doe, not sure on a buck though. Move in is on Friday, and then classes start Monday. On the naming thing, I'm good with most anything, just make sure it's cool!
