Well look at that. I created the check-in thread but forgot to introduce myself. Name's Mike, and I'm in southern Ontario Canada. I primarily hunt our 170 acre farm and a few neighboring properties. Bow season opens Oct.1st here
Were I hunt it's mostly small pieces of land between house (Urban hunting) I have some nice bucks coming in to do hopefully it will be a good year.
Hey Boys!(and girls if we have any) Checking in. Really exited about the season. I hunt in SE MN, which opens mid Sept., but...I am heading to ND for the opener in the beginning of Sept. so hopefully we can get an early lead going! I've been there twice, and went 2 for 2 on a sweet little piece of public land. Well...sort of public land. It's in their PLOTS(public land open to sportsman) program, so anyone can hunt there. Looks like you got a dandy shaping up there bushnlo.(in daylight too!) Hope you get him!
Since everyone seems to be doing formal introductions. My name is Ethan, and I hunt in CT. I've been working very hard this off season to get access to a private farm to no avail yet. However I have hope, our season begins September 15th. I have my state land spots dialed in, however two years ago with the introduction of cross bows for everyone, the "bow only" land I hunt has been over run with cross bow hunters. The great majority of these cross bow hunters walk around aimlessly with no regard to other hunters in the area. Hence my reason for going after private. Shall we start the team name suggestions?

7 Feet Under 7 Deadly Sins Bow Team 7 +1 for Poke and Strung I am fairly handy with photoshop and can make us avatars once we decide on a name.
Hey everyone checking in. My name is Travis and I am from central Wisconsin. I have access to 160 acres of private land, in on a 4 man lease with another 260 acres of private and thousands of acres of public. Went out glassing and shining last night and saw an absolute giant that is at least 5 1/2 yrs old on one of the public pieces I hunt. Going to try to figure where he is coming out to feed in the beans. The problem is where I saw him was close to the land owners barn. Our season starts September 12th. I plan on putting a camera out on the lease this weekend so hopefully will have some pics in the near future. Good luck guys/girls this season and remember to always wear your safety harness!
Checking in , I'm Nate and I'll be hunting primarily in SE VA. I do have some land to hunt out in the middle and western side of the state but for the most part I enjoy hunting on the Eastern Shore of VA (google). I have 4 kids and won't have a ton of vacation this season so I hope to put up 50 points early with a doe as I'm not sure exactly how much I'll be getting out. Have access to a ton of land on the shore and our family farm(87 acres) is near Petersburg, VA. I have been running a few cams but the pics have been a little slow so far. I have been shooting a ton this summer, Mathews Q2, 60#, Grizz Trick II's 100 grain. I'm dialed in. I'm good with whatever name you guys want to use.
Seemed like a few people were in favor of "Lethal Injection". Here is an avatar I threw together if we choose that name.
