Trace Premise Pics...Whos Got Em?

I am curious in these cams. I am currently running some M880's and an older M80 and really have no complaints on them.
The Trace Cam looks almost identical as the M880's at half the cost.

If anyone has some Day and Night pics they would like to share I would appreciate it.

I don't have any pics but it is literally like the same as the 880 and takes great pics, my buddy bought 3 of them and is super happy. No washout pics and great night pics as well. I'll try to get some pics from him to upload.

 

I bought two of them for $59 total from a deal a guy had on Ebay. I only use them at home for security and they do take excellent pics and videos (No sound) and great battery life.

I great camera for the price. $39 where I find them. They are only in stock about 1 day per week though.

I would rate the camera at a 6 out of 10. Decent sensor, decent pictures, amazing battery life. The pictures will NOT blow you away but it works and that's what matters.






EDIT: The camera is picky with SD cards. I noticed that it wont take IR pictures if I don't have the right SD card in it.

 

Where do you find them for that price and what kind, size sd cards do you recommend?

Academy as mentioned above. Like I said, they only seem to be in stock at most one day per week and then they sell out right away. I had a buddy try to buy one on Monday because they were "in stock". As soon as he went to checkout it said they sold out.

I tried 3 different cards in mine. The first two were older 2gb cards. No idea on brand for them. The 3rd card was 4gb just one of the double packs you get from walmart. That card worked fine. They take lots of pictures since they have about a 10 second delay that cant be changed so you want a bigger card.

 

Looks like a awesome camera for $40! I'd buy a boat load of those!

They had stock this morning but ran out as soon as I put it in my cart haha, gonna have to wake up early to get this deal

 

Buddy of mine emailed them yesterday asking when they would get them in stock since he has had the as soon as you put it in the cart its out of stock issue 3 times now.

They said don't expect to see them "in stock" anytime soon.

 

well crap...they do have a wild game innovations one for 50 which doesn't look too bad

 

I went to my local Academy Sports and they were sold out. They are going to call me if they get more in.
