Maybe a dumb question but I've never done this before. So the teams are picked after about 50 people sign up it becomes a team? On page 5 I noticed on one of the posts it said 1-50 entered by Fitz. Then a few more pages later it said the same thing but a different number.
That is just Fitz trying to stay up to date with the sign ups. they will pick teams of 12 usually, This happens I believe in September. Fitz enters usually about 50 names at a time to his list that he will generate teams with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Moose is right. I'm just entering them into my spread sheet. Helps me keep up and also cuts down on the long list for copying and pasting. Once the sign ups are complete, I use a random number generator to pick teams.
I hope I don't screw any good teams up if I can't get one down this year even though I'm going in with as positive of an attitude as I can.
No reason to worry, just stay active on your team thread is the most sure fire way deer or no deer to have fun. This is just a great way to meet people you never would have otherwise! I've had a few friendships form with folks strictly because they were on my team and now hope to someday share the woods with them and communicate throughout the year with them. Just have fun with it and stay active...afterall I mean it isn't like the winners get a signed Justin Zarr poster or anything haha!

So are the teams randomly assigned for the newer people who weren't on a team before or do you get drafted to a team?

When are the teams chosen? My season starts this Saturday. I would say more but don't wanna jinx myself. Already having trouble sleeping!
