Peep sight keeps moving

I have never had this problem until the other day. I was shooting and noticed I couldn't see through my peep sight. I twisted it with my finger and could see through it but it kept going back. I have to twist it every time before I draw back. How can I stop this from happening?

 

Just go to the bow shop and tell them. They will fix it in a couple seconds by twisting the string. Or if your like me I just twist it before every shot and it becomes a habit.

 

I thought it would be a shop problem but I was wishing I could do it my self.

 

If you have string silencers installed that go through the string, just slide the top one up or down a little. The peep will rotate.

 

Kenny at bow tuning tips on YouTube had a video about that.

 

That's probably where I first saw it. Used the trick myself. Works like a charm.

Or , if you use a loop , just turn the loop towards the way the peep is turned ...

 

I've just twisted my D-loop in the past and when I draw the peep will line up right.

 

I moved the string damper and it worked great.

 

Everything is a bandaide fix for the real problem though...The problem is that your string has stretched some so it's screwed up the rotation...And if you had measured draw length before & after I'm saying the draw is a tad longer now as well....String needs some twists put in it to fix the problem.
