Hello fellas. I haven't been on here since checking in but have been trying to kill a bird. I hunted two days in Oklahoma last weekend but couldn't get a bird close enough. I took a friend's daughter out Thursday and she whacked a jake but we were never able to find it. It appeared to be a good hit. It was the first arrow she has ever released on a live target. She was thrilled and couldn't stop shaking after the shot. It was pretty neat to see. Had another bird gobbling for over an hour but he just wouldn't come in. Lots of hunting pressure in that area (Texas) but I plan to try again. Congrats on the birds that have been shot. Chad you did a nice job on your first self filmed kill. Nice work.
Worked on a bird both Friday and Saturday just couldn't get him to cross the creek from the neighboring property I don't have much hunting left so it not looking good I might get one more afternoon hunt and one more morning hunt in before season closes but not sure yet Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nice bird nonetheless. Congrats on getting him. My season is done. Nothing but rain the last two weeks and no more opportunities to get out. Headed to Canada Sunday for some fishing and bear hunting. Ya'll have a great summer.

Had one day to hunt during the last week of WI turkey season. It was a great hunt but I couldn't get the job done. Here is a preview of what my night was like.
