Oh my........ I don't even know where to begin. I actually almost feel bad for him. 82 last week? Worst round ever as a pro? Hitting it out of waste areas and cactus plants for 2 days? His short game is.... well.... hmmmmm... cant' even really describe it. His career ended that night a 3 iron went through his windshield at the hands of his ex wife.

Anyone still think he breaks Jacks record? lol  So long Tiger.....

I used to think that if he could get physically healthy, he would be a champion again. Now I am doubting if he will ever get the mind and body of champion Tiger back. Not looking like it at this point. His touch seems to be nonexistent and his mind is somewhere beyond the course. Lots of young kids out there that are going to make it nearly impossible for him to put together a string of any kind of success again.

Has there ever been such a fall from grace? I'm not sure. It's too bad.

Golf is one of the most mental sports there is. If you think you are going to hit a bad shot or even have an inkling in the back of your mind that your shot will be bad, it will be 10/10 times. Everything that has happened to him over the course of the past few years has been imprinted in his mind and he will never be what he used to. He will win a few tournaments here and there but he is done.

It's crazy how he can go from number 1 in the world to doing this horrible.

Not to mention I believe the field is much better these days than it was when he was dominant. He could win another major but it would be a fluke. Don’t expect multiple majors out of him anymore at this point.

I think he's done. Besides the fact that he lost it mentally and physically, the other golfers don't fear him like they once did.

I feel that Tiger will win again. He won't break the record, but he will win another major.

Even beyond not being able to shake the mental aspect of the game and his back/knee issues, he dumped all his best golfing tutors/caddies who were part of what made him a winning team. He's done.

I think he pushed his body to hard when he was younger. There has always been those rumors of Tiger and PED's and not saying he did use them but this could explain why his body is falling apart.

To be honest (and I could be completely wrong), but I'm not buying all the "injuries" he sights. I think he uses it sometimes as a crutch to get the heck out of dodge while he is hitting it like a 20 handicapper. Yes he does/did have an explosive move through the ball and generates a lot of club head speed for many years. But... so do 95% of PGA tour players. Tiger is in a very small minority of players that seem to be injured to the degree of not being able to perform. Last 8 tournaments he has 3 WD's... 3 missed cuts and hasnt' finished above 18. All related to what he says is being injured by something. Hell Freddy Couples at the ripe old age of 50something still contends at Agusta every year. And performing at a high level on the seniors tour. Historic for a bad back. Not saying Tiger isn't banged up over the years, but I'm just not buying it as the reason why he Wd's or can't get it back. It doesn't take much of a healthy back to hit a 10 yard chip shot without blading it over the green like he did the last 2 weeks. And.... 2 weeks ago he himself said it was the healthiest he's felt in years and hitting club head speed numbers he hasn't in 15 years. TOAST.

they said he wants to play in two weeks at the Honda Classic. I don't think he will be ready for that. IMO he needs to just practice until the tourney before the masters.

    My prediction...

He comes back (whenever) saying he is healthy and swing is better than it has been in 15 years. He sprays it all over the lot and maybe makes a cut or misses the cut again. IF he finishes it's toward the bottom of the pack if he makes the cut. Next tournament same deal. He will be on the cut line or below and suddenly the knee or back will be acting up. We will see the grimaces and not be able to bend over and the piss poor body language and WD again. It's a recurring nightmare. He needs a psychologist not a trainer. His problem is in his head. I think he's hurt 20 percent of what he claims.
