I bought one last year and my only complaint is the seat was too big to fold up when i was in stand. It is adjustable but not without a wrench. Lightweight and easy setup
Thanks, I stand 99% of the time while hunting. So I guess the muddy will be a better option. Sent from my XT830C
I have a alpha and an assault...I like the cast, I really don't see me ever getting a F1. Why an F1 over a regular alpha?
Main reason I leave mine up year round and its only $139.....lol. Never hand any of my stands on my land bothered to date, but never know. Sent from my XT830C
Yeah, $139 shipped seemed to be a good deal. I guess I could remove the seat pad since I stand up all the time. Sent from my XT830C
I have the F1 and its a good stand for that price. I found it to be lighter than advertised and solid. No way would I buy it for the normal $199 though. Still, the cast platform of the Assault and Alpha is the best around!
How the hell do yall stand up for 5 hrs?? I'm lucky to make it 30 minutes and I'm in excellent shape!
LOL, you get use to it. Lean against the tree takes a lot off your legs. I had back surgery about 2.5 years ago. Hurts me to sit that long. Sent from my XT830C
Anyone ever hear of "XOP" Xtreme outdoor products? Looks like Lone Wolf copies? Anyway, found some nice sticks they make for a good price.
They're the Chinese sticks lone wolf had made years back and refused shipment on. XOP is coming out with their own stick with some improvements.
Any problems with lock on squeaking when you move around? I purchased a cheap lock on at Academy that squeaked when I barely moved that cost me some deer bowhunting this season. I hate to pay top dollar for a Lone Wolf, only to have the same thing happen
The squeek probably is coming from the washers at the seat pivot or the platform pivot. I had the same issue with my muddy stand, I took it apart and covered each washer with bow string wax and stand was silent. Where lone wolf or a cast aluminum stand is going to set itself apart with noise is when the tempature plummets. Any stand with welds has more potential for noise when its cold over cast stands.
