What part of "I've met and talked with both of them and they're very like able" are you having issues with?

Doesn't everybody treat their cameraman like dirt? That would be a show I watch TV hunter cameraman confidential, a behind the scenes look at the industry.:o

I hear Ralph has his moments but have never heard anything bad about Vicki. She even tried to give me one of her bows. She also ran the kid's archery booth at the Illinois deer show before I took it over. Running it is a lot of work, something that you do out of passion, not greed or pride.

I have heard (and sometimes saw) some really unpalatable stuff from the 'players' at the various outdoor shows I have attended. The amount of back-stabbing and gossip is amazing and sad.
It is the primary reason I walked away from all that.

I could tell stories... But then I'd be no better.

I would say Bill Winke seems to be one of my favorites. I've never met him so I can't speak for what type of person he is, but I know that he answers pretty much any question a person asks him through his website. That says a lot to me.

Haven't met a high profile hunter but I'd sit down and have a beer with Jim Shockey, Steve Rinella or Donnie Vincent. I could care less about learning any tips or tactics, I just want to hear some of their stories.

As for Brackett, he makes himself look like a tool. I am only going off of what I have heard and some of his rants on FB.

Is Steve Rinella the Meat Eater guy? I only saw one video of him and it was the one where he finds out he has worms. He seems fairly entertaining... just remember to cook him thoroughly if you're going to eat him. ;)

LOL.. too funny about eating him. Yup thats him. He is a good writer as I have read a few of his books. My favorite one is the one on the American Bison so far.

This was a bit more than visiting for a few minutes but I agree that working with them would be much different.
Business and romantic relationships can really bring out the worst in people.

    But I still like Vicki.

I really can't say that I want to hunt with any celebrity of a hunting show, but if I had to I would pick Ted Nugent-Cam Hanes-Tiffany Lakosky (She is always laughing)-Kristy Titus orTheresa Vail

Yeah I would like to talk to Ted Nugent for a few moments too, I have a 21 year old daughter and would talk to him in brail. He wouldn't hear a thing but he would feel it.

No outdoor channels for me.. I have never met any of those guys personally so it's hard to pick a favorite.

I was invited to a week long bear camp in BC with Ted and passed. A guy from Michigan that makes that hunt with him every year owns land here and he invited me a couple of years ago. If Ted is what I think he is, a week would be way too long to be in camp with him. If I am wrong, I missed a great opportunity. Either way, I never regretted the decision.

I did spend a few days hunting in Texas with Colorado Buck. A buddy of mine owned a ranch there that Colorado ran the hunting concession on. He is a super nice guy that is absolutely nuts about hunting. The crew from the show Closing the Distance was also there that week. Also nice guys.

Cameron Hanes was probably one of the best people I've met - period. Hunting aside, the guy was so positive and uplifting, he was a real pleasure to spend time with.

I guess if I had to choose between all the TV hunters to hunt with it would be Jimmy "Big Time" Miller. Season 1 version.
