Alright ladies and gentlemen, we are on the eve of the end of buck season here in Pennsylvania and I have an unfilled tag in my pocket. It's do-or-die for me tomorrow, so what's your best piece of advice you would give a hunter looking to bag a buck?
Get out there! My advice would be to hunt near a food source... there's a storm coming this weekend. Best of luck to you also!
I'm going into the thick stuff this afternoon, that's where any buck in his right mind would be after the season long hassles. I'm hoping to catch one browsing just before dark. It's very hit or miss because we really don't have (in my area) specific food sources to hunt.
I would hunt the downwind side of the best food source you can find. Maybe 50 yards or so back in the cover if the wind direction will allow it.
You must be in a special regulations area. My advice is shoot it if it walks in front of you, lol. Best of luck!
