Thanks all. I don't personally know the guy, but husband says he's a good kid. So it's nice to know that. I hope to get something of that sort at some point in my life!
We're supposed to get 3-5" of snow tonight, so I'm going to beg the wife and baby to let me out in the afternoon.

They actually called us in to work today...and tomorrow with -19° windchill. The random days off were a super perk of the job, but my new project manager is a real buzz kill.
Though I think most of us are done hunting I think three does would put us into the lead - or a buck and doe. Everyone contributed so much! Wish my doe in gun was with a bow. Just no luck there for me. Husband is saying we need to go out Saturday - so we will see what the weather brings!
Yeah we are really close as far as I know. One buck would probably do it though maybe not when the scorecard is updated again. I should have taken that big eight point way back there.
We have a good group, it was a lot of fun. I never contributed all deer allowed in one of these contests before, so that was an accomplishment for me. -5 here today, I can't imagine hunting in this today without being in a blind with a heater LOL.
I sat for 4 hours tonight and didn't see squat. Walked out to find 5 does digging for acorns at my truck. I'll have a new tactic next time!
I might just sit in the barn and shoot one out of the yard. Treestands and scouting are totally overrated...
This is apparently the time to hit the woods. I saw 44 deer yesterday and 37 today...on my hour drive home from work.
