Don't worry we will make sure he brings you back for dinner when I make seafood gumbo and chicken white chili.

 

One thing for sure is you always eat good when you are around Tom.

 

My go to deer rifle is a Savage 30 '06 topped with a Leupold VX-R and spitting home loaded Barnes TSX.

I also have a couple Remington's in .270 and 7mm 08 that I take out just for variety.

My muzzleloader is also a CVA Accura V2........ridiculously awesome gun (gotta love bergara). Also spitting Barnes.

 

Ya'll sure are quiet.

Rifle season opens on the 18th and runs through the 26th here. I'll be looking for at least a three pointer. I've seen some small four points during the archery season. Didn't get any shots at them.... but they were well within rifle range. :D

 

good luck... we open up with muzzle loader this weekend but ill still be out with the bow until we start running dogs on the 15th

 

BOOM! I don't know the score yet since I haven't put a tape on him but I shot the 9 pointer I was after this morning.
