Back home in middle Tennessee they average about 100 lbs dressed and here where I am currently living in Maryland they average about 60 lbs dressed. The deer around here are tiny!

I live in northern Maine where there's no doe season, but I used to see this doe every year that was enormous. It was bigger than a lot of bucks I've seen. I wouldn't be surprised if it was 180 or more dressed. It was huge.

I shot one with my CB a number of years ago that was 139lbs dressed. That's by far my biggest doe.

We don't have very big does around here. The biggest I have ever killed was 122 and that was not dressed.

We have big deer here in Minnesota and the biggest doe I've shot dressed out at 125lbs. I've shot a half dozen at that weight. It takes a huge doe to hit that 125lb mark dressed.

I would guess the doe I shot this year was right around 150lbs dressed out. The sample site aged her at 3.5...

State record in maine for the heaviest doe (field dressed) is 185# and they don't allow doe hunting in the northern part of the state.

Right on. Most don't weigh and just think their that big. Just like bear hunters here in Minnesota. No one ever seems to shoot anything smaller then a 300lb bear. I wanna start using their scales. ;)

I killed two in the last couple of years that were 160 lbs and 158 lbs. That is live weight. My wife killed one earlier this year that was 162 lb live weight. Those are some pretty large does for SE Missouri. I do have some pics of one that I would like to get a shot at that I'm guessing will be over 170 lbs, she's enormous.

120 live is huge around here. Funny thing about what people think their dead deer weigh.

I would say average doe killed would have to be between 70-80lbs. Killed one yesterday that was 98lbs and it was above average i would say. Our biggest doe on the year will likely be around 120 +/-

I agree. I had my doe weighed at the butcher shop, where his scale said 139lbs. She was one of those big matriarchs!

The doe I shot in Ohio this year was a big mature doe. It felt much heavier dragging it then what it weighed, which was 118# dress. In contrast the buck I shot in Pa this year was 150# dressed and looking at pics you would have guessed it weighed close to the same as the 118# doe I shot in Ohio.

Never weighed a doe, they are either small, medium, or large to me.
