Mine has absolutely sucked. I actually watched the video, "so you want to be a bowhunter" to get beginner knowledge. I think at this point it's a confidence thing. I'm not confident so I think I move around more in the stand, and make more noise, etc....

I do the same thing, if I haven't seen anything in about 5 to 8 sits my sits start getting shorter and I start slacking on what it is I might be doing wrong or I just keep telling myself there is no deer here. Then I have to kick myself in the butt pull my hat down and get to it, they are there you will get one it just takes a lot of work. Gotta keep your head up and try NEW things instead of letting the technique go, keeping confidence up is the hardest man. Good luck you'll put one down!

Absolutely change things up, it can pay off. One of my best bucks I took from a stand I put up and sat in the same day in an area that I would never consider sitting otherwise. It was a small patch of trees in an open pasture, I had never scouted it even because it was so wide open. I just needed a break from the norm, threw up a stand and 2 hours later I arrowed a Pope & Young.

With that said I slipped out yesterday afternoon for a short sit and afterwards went and dropped off a thank you gift at the land owner's house. Talking to the land owner she proceeded to tell me that her son and grandson had pushed deer between 3 patches of woods on the property most of the day Saturday and Sunday without any luck. That would explain why I didn't see anything last night. I may get a late season hunt in to try to throw some meat in the freezer but no reason to touch the woods for a couple weeks at least.

Good luck out there guys, hunt safe!

Assuming all the kills have been scored and entered, So we should be at about 336 points. But when I go to the score board all I see for us 50pnts. Whats up? Have you guys all entered your deer?

I've got mine entered, the scoreboard hasn't been updated since 11/11 from what I've seen. We really need some pionts tho!

Funny thing is I could have shot this one with my bow. Shot him at 20 yards with the rifle. He came in following a doe and stopped that close to the stand.

The deer completely disappeared from my property. I had the trail cam out for 2 weeks and there wasn't a single deer picture on the card. I've got another property that I've let sit since gun season 2 wks ago, so I'm going to try out there, for at least a doe. Supposed to get nice this weekend, so I'll probably head out to try!
