Ugh oh. I'll be ice fishing by Thursday. Gonna be hard to keep motivated to go shoot a doe lol. Slab gills and crappies are calling my name!

Never icefished but am going to this winter - but not until deer season is over, lakes aint froze over yet anyway. Its awfully windy this evening, still thinking about sliping into the tree stand tonight. We will see how I feel when I get off work.
I actually work at a Sporting Goods store, and will have someone help me get it measured right. Just gotta take the time to skin the skull out and boil the gunk off it. I'll have it measured out by the end of next week though.
We are definitely in the running right now, need to get my buck scored and have a few more guys come thru for us and we should nab the lead for a bit!
Between you guys, team 24, team 1 and us.....we may have 4 teams break the scoring record all in one contest!!! Heck of a year for some teams this year!
I'm not sure what the all-time record is, but the teams this year are def. posting some stellar scores.
I scored it myself, but came up higher than I was expecting so I am getting a second opinion on it. lol!

Well I'm down for a week or two. Just got back from the doc and I have shingles and am in a extreme amount of pain lol. I'll have to get out on second half of Iowa bow season for my doe
Well I have Wed. Thurs. Friday and Sunday to hunt. I will be hunting, for a buck. Thats the good news, the bad news is I have no idea what I am going to do. My cameras are still showing bucks but I just don't have a good feel for what stand to hunt and when... Just going to play the wind and hope for the best I guess. Good news is gun seaosn ends this weeekend so maybe things will settle down.
