Should deer drives (gun hunters) be a legal hunting method?

Apples to oranges. Show me a video where they have moving 3d targets so you can practice running shots on deer for bow hunting.

I'll show you where gun clubs having running deer targets to practice shooting at running deer. It is a different mentality.

I have seen 3D archery shoots on TV where the targets are moving

Lol! At this very moment the neighbors land is getting pushed right now. I can promise you bullets are flying through my woods from the neighbors land. This is very common and happens every year. Wisconsin and Minnesota have something in common finally with hunting. I no longer hunt my woods when they do deer drives during the day. I get pissed off. This evening though you can bet I'll be out there.

Depends on the hunter you asked for an example and I provided one

I have been to two different archery shoots where they had moving targets. And I have only been to a handful of shoots in my life. I don't think its very uncommon. Not that it makes any difference to this argument for or against drives. Because like most gun hunters, the bow hunters seldom do well on that target. I promise you that it is a very small percentage of people that have any business taking a shot at a running target with any weapon.

Again I stand by my position that it is for fun. Not to practice for taking bow shots on moving deer. The link I posted above is specifically to practice shooting at a running deer for the purpose of shooting and attempting to kill a running deer.

No. It was to practice taking a shot on a moving deer. Show me a video that proves otherwise.

I do hope you see how juvenile that sounds. Really.

Can you imagine if these same guys made a bowhunting video???

No need to imagine here ya go:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W93jY2lu0jg

Looks pretty interesting and pretty much takes a dump on all the magazine articles you read about deer hunting which I think is awesome. Haven't seen the actual video though just this trailer.

That bow video was kinda cool. I didn't see no running shots. Them same guys were nuts with their guns. What ever I guess floats you're boat.
