Only have one pic of Buster on the E side of the lake. Early summer last year. All other pics have been over here. He's not a camera ***** like Blade was.
Not really. But I was worried that the new cut would. Blind dude. I waived my orange hat for 5 min be before he saw me. Don't think he ever saw my brother.
Out of my sight, but stopped just past. My brother can still see him. Stump sitting in the middle of the cut.
Yeah. Pretty slow day. Got to see the otters again, but that's about it. I'm staying on this side of the lake tomorrow.
U afraid that some one out there might take your stands and or trail cams? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not really. We think we figured out who it is. A group of guys that have land way to the S, but the new cut goes right by their land. The guy in the video I took looks like one of them my dad knows. I will be worried if they open the snowmobile trail to ATVs like they plan. Probably won't hunt there as much if they do. Still thousands of other acres I can get lost in.
Ugh. Water impeller on my dads boat is either clogged or froze. Fine. We can use the resort's pontoon. Battery is dead. Ok. I'll just swap it out to a charged one. Battery cable breaks. Well, I can try manually pull-starting it. Steering is froze. We're all sitting on Whistlers Ridge this am. The amphibious assault/ gear recovery will have to wait for this afternoon when we thaw out dad's boat.
Ok. Got down at 9. Dad had already pulled the Lund and had it in his garage. Turns out you need to drop the lower unit to access the intake filters. WTH!? Messed with the pontoon for another hour and couldn't get that working at all. Not even the trim. Must have a fuse out or bad connection at the motor somewhere. So, pulled the pontoon. I ended up putting one of the little resort boats back I the water. Paul, Tom and Trey headed back across the lake to sit tonight and pull some gear. Dad is in his ladder behind the resort and I'm back up I the Tri-pine on Whistler's ridge. Here goes nothing.
