Thanks again for all the birthday wishes.

My wife is awesome. She got her brother and parents to go in with her and they got me a Heater Body Suit :tu:

I might look ridiculous, but I'll be warm!

I tried them on last year. The tall is plenty big for me.

I'm set up in the Tri-pine stand on Whistler's Ridge. This was the hand full of dates last year hat Blade was hanging tight to this area. Hoping Buster or some new guy comes cruising through looking for does.

Come on deer. Wish they were as active as all these squirrels.

How is it? Comfortable? Warm? Is it tough to put on in the stand with limited room to move around?

Not quite as clumsy as I thought it'd be, but then again, I'm in my LW Elite which is huge. Might be different in my assault.

Definitely warm. Zippers not too bad, but still working on the quietest way to get out of it.

All in all, I like it so far. I need to order the Orange vest for it so I have it in time for WI.

Well I think that's a wrap for today. No other deer action. It's Squirrelmagedon up here!! Bastards are everywhere.

Nah, the entire sit all he could think about is if that last piece of cake would still be there when he got back.

    What a cluster....

One glove. Dead pontoon battery. Behind schedule as usual for rifle opener!

Set up a ground blind for my cousin & his son yesterday. It's along the first beaver dam.

I'm in the Killing Pond Stand (where we hung a second stand for cuz) for at least the AM. Might move mid day so the WI Fitzs can change their view. We'll see how they like the blind.

Paul is in his stand on the far end of the pond. Dad is back by the resort.

    Some Fitz will shoot today!

Super windy overnight. Gusts to 30 forecasted today, but it's not to bad in my stand.

The view E, down stream towards Trey & Tom (cousin's son / cousin).

    Straight across the creek.

And up stream towards my bro.

Oh, Buster is alive and well. Got him a number of times on one of Paul's cams. All dark. One was 45 min before shooting light on my bday. So close.

I don't have any of the pics on my phone but I'll try and get some later.
