Pretty sure I heard a buck growl to my W. Over towards my brother's stand.

I waited a few min then grunted and snort wheezed back.

I have a buck roar that I have never used. I can only guess that is what it would sound like?

Good luck. I saw a weasel for the first time on stand middle of October. Hunting a park in the middle of Burnsville oddly enough was where I saw it. Any larger bucks on cam pulls lately?

No big bucks, but I haven't pulled them all recently. It's been the slowest photo year for big bucks since pre Blade. I really got spoiled with him. In the end we were getting a picture of him ever week or so.

Hang in there Fitz. I saw my first buck on the hoof from the stand this past Sunday while hunting in central WI so hopefully it starts picking up by you too. He was up and chasing a doe so the action is definitely ramping up.

Regardless it's been an awesome day. These otters are a hoot and the scenery ain't half bad.

Don't get me wrong, not seeing deer is frustrating... But deer are a fraction of why I love being out here :tu:

Good thing or I'd be grouchy like you :poke:

As soon as light fades, my boots & socks come off for a cold wade out to pull my card in the pond cam!

Checking my card on the way back. Looks like only one doe in the last 6 days. Bummer.

Think I'm going to sit out in the am but get down early. Wanna pull the last of the resort boats. Plus it's supposed to be pretty windy.

Friday I'll either hunt or help my brother get set for this weekend. I think we'll hang a couple stands for my cousin and his son.
