Keep up the good work guys! Went out with my dad this morning with no luck on my end. My dad got a doe though! I've been out a couple of times with no luck yet. But I'm not going to put a lot of pressure on my area being as I am off of work from Oct. 30-Nov 15 when I can hit it hard and hopefully be posting some buck pics ;)

Haha I bet. I was pleasantly surprised to see I got about 28mpg on the first tank and 34mpg on one highway trip!

congrats Thomas! this weekend has the makings to be magical! I am heading down to our property Friday afternoon and I'm going to walk in and set up my climber (trim limbs, shooting lanes, etc.) and have it ready for Saturday morning. We were in upper 70s all week. Next two days are suppose to be mid 60s. Saturday is suppose to be down to 31 by the time the sun comes up and the high is only 51. So Saturday is going to be perfect!

Good work Thomas. I'll be hunting tomorrow morning and then off and on throughout the next two weeks. It's a bit of a hassle as the closest place to me is 100 miles away! :D Good luck to everyone this weekend.

Yep we are suppose to be 30° here Saturday morning! Weatherman said it will feel like January not november. I'm going for broke and hoping to get curly on the ground!

I sat last night and saw a squirrel and a woodpecker. Seemed like a desolate place until just before dark when coyotes went crazy from three different directions. I need to at least see a buck :D Hopefully this week things will change.

Well guys, I get to finally add to the thread. I shot this 8 point Saturday night. He doesn't score very high but he's a trophy to me and that's all that counts! First deer for me in 4 years. I am still on vacation from work until the 15th. Hopefully I'll have another deer to post even though this is the only one that will count for a score. Good luck guys! Will be adding to the scorecard shortly.

Heck yeah congrats Log! Let me know if you need any help getting it posted up in the score thread. Also, if you shoot a 2nd buck or a doe, that can be submitted for another 50 points!

Nice job guys! I'm heading out tomorrow morning. Not as cool as I would like but I'll take a day of hunting over a day at the office.

Checking in guys, with some not so good news... Smashed the #$&% out of my index finger yesterday splitting firewood, 14 stitches and a broken finger tip later I'm thankfully going to be able to keep the whole finger. Anyhow this is certainly going to put a damper on my hunting at least for this week and next week I'll be in SD pheasant hunting.... Hopefully I can get myself straightened out enough to go out a couple times before then but it's not very good timing ....

Wow glad you are ok man! My dad ran his finger through a table saw a couple months ago. Definitely not fun. Take it easy and don't push it too hard. Still have a long season to go!
