Buddy of mine just stuck a nice one. Right across the road from our farm. Same timber I have my stand in that I haven't hunted.
Hate to say it but my morning sit here is over. Freaking windy! Says 15-20 but there are easily 25 mph gusts. I'm back to the car, going to eat and nap. Probably head back out there in a few hours. Too cold and not wanting to take all that wind to the face. Sent from my Moto X

Great job! I'm hoping to add some points this weekend. I still haven't gotten my truck back but I said screw it and rented one for the 5hr drive. Hopefully it's worth it. Weather and wind in brown county IL are looking good for my favorite stand tomorrow morning.

This might be a time to rattle depending on distance across river? Hit em hard and don't touch them again. See what happens if you want. I'm no expert.

Think I'll give it a go closer to 5. Hit them hard this AM closer to where they cross. I'm about 75 yards from where the bank drops and the 10-15 yard across river starts. Sent from my Moto X

Yep that's my biggest fear. I have standing beans and corn behind me, river in front. Place across it is a deer empire (800 acres, cedars, bedding, hills, high fence on one side etc...) They have nothing but winter wheat there this year, so thinking why my numbers have gone down as of late. Hanging in there though. Just banged the horns together. Sent from my Moto X
