I am thinking tomorrow morning I will hunt around the house to try and fill a doe tag then in the evening sitting and observing. there calling for a east wind and I only have one stand good for a east wind but havent gotten any pictures of good deer since June. Depending on what the cameras tell me I may try to set up on turkey foot over the weekend since I was able to locate him again and with the cold front coming in. Pulled these pictures on Friday before I left for Ohio. Did end up having a good encounter on two 10pts in ohio sunday evening
anyone have any luck first two days? slow here, slowest I have ever seen it. I sat the morning and saw nothing, the wife sat last night and saw 4 doe. we will see what the weekend brings.
Slow for me to seen two does with button buck fawn last night and thats it. Do know of 3 pretty decent bucks being shot by buddies though
Was out opening day.. hunted over acorns to no prevail. I'll be out again all weekend -hoping this cold front gets things going. Good luck fellas!

tonight I had my number 1 buck on his feet feeding 30 minutes before dark he just didn't make it to me by dark. maybe tomorrow.

nice look bucks. Had 3 small bucks walk right behind my stand at first light sunday morning. other that that it's been all does i've seen.
Our #1 hitlist buck was spotted on the property lastnight 1 hour before dark.! We'll be after him this weekend.. BTW it never ended up snowing here in the U.P.. did however wake up to a heavy frost.
Always good to be seeing mature deer up and on there feet during day light. Seems like a lot of nice bucks have been hitting the ground across Michigan this year. Will be out in the mornings after some ducks starting tomorrow morning and in a stand in the evenings
So whats the update guys? How has the movement been around you guys? Mature bucks are still only at night at the lease. Did have a encounter last weekend at 40 yards on public land but didnt have a clear shot.
