Great start!!

    So I got a text from my brother who lives in N. Carolina Tuesday night saying he killed his first ever 8 pointer!! I was extremely happy for him and I said well it doesn't get much better than that! Well I was wrong the next night he text me again and said he killed his second 8 pointer and this one was nicer!! What a way to start a season!!

    Nice Caroline bucks. Congrats to him!

    So far this season there have been 4 above 160 that I know of and pics of many more floating around. Looks like it's been a great year for NC.

    What county does he hunt?

    I am not sure what county he hunts but he lives in Oriental.

    NC has been good to hunters this year. So many doe in the crop land that they need to be thinned big time and some monster bucks. Deer management is starting to spread, more farmers are allowing still hunting and the dog hunters have seen that still hunting is producing better deer.
