Went glassing Monday night and have 6 shooters targeted on four different farms. Two of the bucks are permanent residents from previous years but four are "Newbies" on the properties this summer. I'm crossing my fingers they stick around this fall after the beans turn brown.

I am sure your Local Bucks will run off the newbies unless they are tougher than your locals.

I'm crossing my fingers. Two of the new bucks are on a different property so that doesn't concern me a whole lot. One farm I'm watching has 3 giants in the group so I'm almost certain they'll split apart but all the farms I hunt are all joining so I'm hoping when they dispatch, I'll still have a chance at one of them.

If I had access to that many farms, and saw that many shooters, I would be JACKED!

I use to help bale hay for these guys when I was a kid. They are all brothers that split their Father's farm up when he passed way years ago. I am very blessed and thankful for being so lucky.

I'm also jacked for the upcoming season! I had good results last season, but that was just because of sheer hours on stand. I wasn't seeing many deer at all. I just hope it's not going to be as warm as it was last season! That heat kills daytime rut activity.
