I am looking at start shooting carbon express maxima blues. I looked at the spine chart. And got my adjusted draw weight which was 64#. The spine for my weight in the maxima series is 250, which is 7.4 gpi. My current arrow is 8.8 gpi, and I use a a 100g broadhead.
For those of you who shoot the maxima series, do you use a heavier head like a 125g, or how do you compensate for the light arrows?

Increasing grain weight of the broadhead will weaken spine of the shaft. If you want to stiffen the spine add the weight to the nock end.
