I'm just curious when you guys go out to hunt how long on average do you sit in your Lonewolf hang on stand? Also do you use the regular pad or do you have other ways to make it more comfortable?

Longest I went was 8 hours straight. I had apples and would just do slow quiet movements to loosen up. Was pretty nice

I can't sit very long anywhere so I stand the majority of the time. Those seats are small and allow me to sit for a few minutes but I'm more comfortable and awake while standing.

I have sat in my lone wolf hand climber II from 8 in the morning to about 5 at night. Those all day sits are coming and I look forward to them every year.
I have the same stock seat on it.
It get uncomfortable at times so I might stand for awhile and then sit back down.

I do all day sits on both my LW climber and hang-on's.

For the climber, I had the original seat from 10+ years ago. I have since created my own.

For the Hang-on, I have the original (thin gray one with bumps) and it is comfortable and quiet.

I haven't had a problem sitting sun up to sun down. I picked up the cushioned seat this off season. I haven't even brought it into the stand yet, but I'm sure it'll be nice for the longer sits.

Last year I did 7 days in a row from 430am-530 pm on a LW assault hang on, stock seat. (I had previously used a summit viper, which is the king of comfort.) It wasn't bad at all, I just I had to stand every few hours.

The comfort seat makes a huge difference.

I'll strap a thin pad on the tree for a back rest if I can.

Nothing beats a summit climber though with some camo netting around it and pouches for a book and ph.
But I do worry that my snoring maybe keeping the deer away :-)

Pre dawn to post dusk. I had a thicker gorilla seat on my LW for a while and found it worse than just the LW seat... I now stick with the stock LW seat and it is fine. Stand and stretch every once in a while (cautiously).

Also usually very cold by the time Ido full day sits so my clothes are pretty thick.

I like my lone wolfs for short sits on a deer I have patterned. There are better options for long sits.

I've done 4 hour sits with my LW Assault, but my go to stand is my LW sit and climb, and I've done many 12 hour sits from it without any real discomfort. Just have to stand and stretch every so often. Folks need to remember we're not at home with our recliner and remote, we're in the woods deer hunting!

Exactly and I'll stay longer and hunt harder if I'm comfortable. The LW are nice (I own two, with climbing sticks) but their small platforms and uncomfortably small seat offer me no advantage unless I'm packing them in and have a long walk in.

I don't have a LW but I found out the hard way not to have your wallet in your back pocket for an all day sit. I sat Wednesday and it's Friday now and I still have a red line imbedded in my butt from sitting on my wallet all day. Put it in your side pocket

I sit a lot for work and I used to have a costanza wallet. I've since switched to a front pocket wallet and wouldn't go back.

I had to downsize my lot of cards but I recommend to all my guy friends a front pocket wallet. If you're smart about what cards you need when its not that hard actually

    Here's the one I've got
