Do one on how deer and deer hunting help the economy.

Land sales, product sales, leases, outfitters, licenses, etc.

Lots and lots of $$$$$ that nobody thinks about.

    - Buck age in relation to antler growth
    - Amount of deer related car accidents where hunting is strict or not even allowed and the populations have become out of control compared to where the population is regulated by hunters
    - How managing the amount of does in a herd can help bring in more healthy bucks

the economy idea is also great

You should work on disproving the mentality of "If you don't shot it someone else will". I hate when I hear people say this. Pet peeve.

To ADD to this, I was told by a Colorado Division of Wildlife office that the state of Colorado brings in more revenue from the sport of hunting and fishing than they do Skiing.

Also, do you know why state's that do drawing/preference point systems take up to 3 months to post results of the draw and issue a refund? So your application money can sit in a savings account for a return of ~2%. Doesn't seem like much, but a for every 1 million dollars in license applications =$20,000 in interest. Now apply that to every species of small/big game animal a hunter may apply for in one given state.
