So which time frame have you been more successful with. If you could only choose one to hunt all season, would you rather hunt mornings or evenings?
Only one all season? If I had a gun to my noggin and had to decide.... Mornings. IMO the best part of the season is best in the morning.
Killed 90% of my deer in the morning so I would say the am. Wish nights were better for me so I could sleep in.
I really like hunting evenings and have better luck in the evening early season, but if I had to choose a time to hunt all season I'd say morning hunts.
I'd rather hunt the mornings. My best deer have all been killed in the AM. But the best two deer I've encountered were in the PM.
I prefer the mornings as well. Watching the woods floor come to light and able to start searching for movement helps wake you up and get your blood flowing. Love the times when a deer is walking right under you at pitch dark and you have no idea what it is and then its gone. That is just as big a rush as drawing down on one. It does seem like bigger buck sightings are more likely in the evening unless rut is going on.
