I had surgery on my back 5 yrs ago. I do have pain every now and then but the main thing I make sure of when hanging stands is the seat is level I have some sort of back support, and if I can't have both I look elsewhere. Also I exercise usually weight train and cross fit and ride my bike it really helps

I find standing most of the time eliminates discomfort. When I was in my twenties it wasn't unusual for me to stand from sun up to sundown. Nowadays about three hours at a time.

I had back surgery 4 years ago. I stand up 80% of the time. Much better than sitting for me.

I stand up or put one knee on my seat (then switch knees) for about 20 minutes every 3-4 hours on stand. It helps my back, butt, and keeps the blood flowing in the legs. I'd be miserable if I didn't do it.

I don't get back pain, but I'll stand up periodically to stretch and loosen things up a bit.

When I sit I do not move, I literally try to not move unless I really have to. It leaves me in all kinds of different pains after sitting 3 hours. I have wore my tens machine in the stand in the past and will again in the future.

When I purchase stands now days I pay the most attention to the seat. Good stand seat and no issues.

Beginning about 10 years ago, I only buy stands with a sling style seat. I can sit comfortably for 2+ hours without standing up to stretch. Since I started sleeping with a pillow between my legs, I haven't had a stiff/sore back in months

I'm fairly sure most bow hunters have encountered the ninja deer... You look around and nothing take a breath, look around again and BAM whitetail. Everytime you move you must assume that you are being watched...
