I took my girlfriend out for her first time. She did a great job and was very patient. What a great morning.

Congrats! Great video wish you'd have gotten the kill shot but I saw why you probably didn't.

    Way to get it done!

Thanks for the kind words guys. She is still very excited about it. We dropped the head off at the taxidermist today.

The kill shot was pretty poor from my primary camera so I elected to go with the second angle camera.

Yeah that is what I figured. It looked like you both moved pretty good on the shot. So I figured the video wasn't that great. At least not for your published one....

Very cool video...I was hoping to catch my daughters first on video but it didn't happen. I was to focused on getting her the shot.

Thats the plan. I told her next one is with the crossbow. Our biggest concern is quick clean kills. I think at this stage of the game the crossbow is the next logical step.

    Thanks again guys!

Looks like you got a keeper!
Loved the bright red nail polish. My wife saw that and laughed.

well i read how good the Barnes expandables are, until they quit making them, I am getting the same group with the federal trophy copper slugs which is suppose to be the replacement to the expanders, so maybe when you run out you can switch to them without any trouble

Good to know, thanks for the heads up. I hear the Remington Accutips are good too but I have no experience with them. If I can keep my ammo consumption rate down I should be good for a few more years.
Might have to give them a shot it would nice to have a replacement lined up before I need one. Who knows maybe my gun will like them better.
