Found a volunteer for the Rage injection !!! The weekend I took this buck I had my friend Nick down from Michigan to hunt with me. Friday and Saturday we had good activity with many good buck seen . Sunday morning at 2am my wife woke me up and was upset that our dog was missing and she could not find him. I spent till 10 am before finding him OK. The day could not get any worse !!! We put a game plan together for the evening hunt and headed out. after getting Nick to his stand I got to mine and got all my gear set up. After everything got settled I made a few Doe bleats and tending grunts. Immediately a squirrel started barking a 100 yrds from me. Then I got a tex from Nick wanting to know if anyone else had permission to hunt this farm. I told him NO !!! He then told me he had a trespasser with a bow about 80 yrds from him. I texted back I would be over there soon. I then took my camera gear and ozonics and put it back in my pack. This day was really starting to suck !!!! My phone started vibrating and it was Nick calling. He said the trespasser was getting into a climbing tree stand and we should just stay in the stands then get him at dark. I agreed and put my phone back in my pocket. I then looked into the direction the squirrel was barking and seen this buck coming my way. 2 min later I called Nick back and told him I had just shot a buck !!! If anyone thinks that the Man Upstairs dose not test our commitment than you need to have a talk with that squirrel that started barking at the dead buck under his tree !!! ( Ya Reap What Ya Sow ) !!! Bad days are just a matter of perspective !!! The trespasser got caught and then we recovered a blessing !!!
