Whitetail semi guided hunts central? Any advice I am from Oklahoma and will be looking into booking a 3-4 day hunt just not sure where to begin to even look, I am wanting to bow hunt and would like to spend $1000-$2500 max depending on the hunt and lodging ect. One big thing is I want it to be a hunt or a challenge I guess you would say. We have thought about doing an elk hunt just not sure where to look for either but we will only be doing one or the other. Thanks for any advice oh and for sure don't mind traveling out of state prefer to honestly.
You might find a whitetail hunt for that price, but I doubt you'll find an elk hunt of any sort in that price range, unless you DIY. Really, for an elk hunt you would want to spend at least a week to 10 days to have a decent chance at a good bull. Especially if you'll be bow hunting.
From what I am seeing yes deer will be what we do but most outfits are offering only a week long hunt 6 days, and I would only be about 4 days hunting with 1 travel day.
