Normally I take deer 150" scoring+ but he came by hurt pretty bad. Limping and had been shot so out of mercy I put him down. Scoring 128" I didn't want to see him suffer or goto the coyotes.

I need to hunt were your at because in my book a 120" is more than a mercy kill.

*This is a hidden brag/excuse post and will be treated as such :D

(congrats....although through your supreme disappointment in this deer it probably seems lame to say congrats)

In my book you did right in shooting the wounded buck, its still a great deer, bigger than anything I have shot so far. Hopefully there is not to much wasted meat.

Congrats on the buck! I put one down with the slug gun with a back leg only hanging on by a tendon. 100" eight point.[IMG][IMG]
