Food Plots

    Hey guys so I'm wandering what and when a good late season food plot would be, can anyone help me out?

    Late? Like now late? It's so late now that it's almost just easier to say super early food plot, lol.

    No I mean next fall late season lol:) so yea early input from you guys

    Winter oats or winter rye or winter wheat mixed with crimson clover (for our area here in KS/MO) and winter peas is a killer combo. Just standing soybeans is also pretty good.

    Plant the Winter oats, rye, clover and winter peas in the fall say End of August/September. Plant the soybeans in the Spring once soil temp has reached 65 degrees. For soybeans and regular peas you need at least an acre lot or some sort of fencing else the deer will mow it to the ground and it will not stand a chance.
