I need some help finding a good detachable/quick attack tree stand. I'm going to be hunting more public land in the future and need something I can take down after each hunt. Here in central MN climbing stands just won't work. I found the Tree Stand Buddy as a possible option, any one have any experience with any mounting systems? Thanks
Sounds like a massive pain... how about a $35 lock on stand? At that price it's something that if you didn't loose it, you wouldn't be out huge money.
I use the Muddy Vantage stand with a lot of extra tree brackets. The stand only weights 11 lbs and is very easy to attach to the tree once you install the tree bracket. With this stand it is very comfortable to me and I am able to do all day sits in it.
