Just go and muffle your cough best you can. Deer cough all the time, I've coughed from a tree with deer 30 yards away and they never raised their heads. Try to muffle it if you can't hold it in and enjoy some fresh air.

Well if you can't shoot her... you can at least give her your cough.

If you let one go from the other end at the same time, maybe the deer will think it's a big buck grunting. You might call in a Booner!

    Good luck!

I'm dealing with the same thing right now been sick all week but i'll be in a tree in the morning. I've had deer within bow range and coughed they never stopped eating or looked around. Just keep your sleave near your mouth and cough into it. Works well

I've done that, it sucks. I usually just take some Delsym when I leave the house and have a pocket full of cough drops. Try not to get too hot that makes it worse.

Two yrs ago I coughed and had a deer run right under my stand and stop to look around for what made the noise. Had that happen numerous times now. I've started to cough once or twice before giving up and getting down now. Never know if it will bring in a curious deer when you haven't seen anything else

I always keep a roll of Halls I'm my hunting pack. A few DayQuil gelcaps too because they will stop a runny nose when it's real cold.

I've always thought about this after I was already on stand fighting a cough. Just keep jamming cough drops in is probably your best best.

To hell with running your heart rate way up. We have bucks to kill.

Do your best. My allergies used to be a lot worse when I was a kid. Luckily they've gotten better over the years. I drove my dad NUTS walking behind him sniffing and sneezing. Muffle your cough the best you can and see what happens. If you're not hunting, you won't have a chance! For me, any chance is better than no chance.

last week I almost choked to death in my stand lol. I swallowed my saliva and it went straight down my wind pipe, I tried to hold my cough but I had to breathe eventually so I tried to cover my mouth and all the doe about 50 yards away heard was a loud fart noise from coughing into my hand and it spooked he pretty good too. worst day and probably the funniest in my stand.
