This morning I finally got the old doe that's been jacking with us since last hunting season. "Big Red",as my wife named her, was a smart one. My wife was trying real hard to get her first deer with a bow, but Big Red ruined all of her hunts at the lease last year. She would stomp and blow staying just out of my wife's range. So I put my wife in the brush with her rifle, but Big Red still got her. I hunted that stand yesterday and that dang doe busted me too. So my wife had enough of it and told me that she didn't want this stupid doe to ruin her hunting season again. Big Red came in stomping at me this morning so I drew my bow back thinking to myself STOMP THIS and put a rage in her cage blowing out a chunk of her lung. So Big Red is headed home in the ice chest and I have a happy wife
Great job, I have an old doe that has frustrated me for 2 years now. I had a perfect shot on her this past Sunday but didn't shoot her. She always has 3+ fawns with her every year, this year she had 4, "had" being the keyword, now she has 3 and I have 1. Her yearly production is what saved her yesterday. It has been fun hunting her though. Very smart deer, I'm sure my opinion will change about her when she busts me.
