Alright so in Michigan we have a youth hunt(2 days before the season actually starts)the same weekend as early antlerless firearm. On the first day I went out I didn't see anything except some squirrels and a chipmunk in the.morning. In the afternoon it was supposed to rain but I decided yo go out anyways(mainly becuase I hunt on the same property our house is) and sat for a couple hours before the rain broke loose. I was headed in and all of a sudden it cleared up. I then quickly made the decision to goback to the stand I had been hunting. As I got close I ran into a doe. I managed to get an arrow knocked and called her into the open with the death chamber from knight and hale. I took a shot I felt comfortable with and the arrow blew through her. She ran off and I went to look for the arrow. It was covered in blood and I was extremely excited. I called my dad to come help me track it and to bring a gun because it was supposed to start storming again in an hour and we needed to find the deer(when I shot it I was not aware that it was going to storm again). We found blood where I shot her and a few drops about 50 yards down the path. It started to rain and I ended up grid searching for the next couple of hours. I couldn't find her or more blood. My dad and I decided that I must of passed through her with out hiting anything that would produce a fatal shot. I was extremely sad as that was the first time I had shot a deer with a bow. I went out this morning and sat for an hour before 2 bucks came out of a cornfield behind me. There was a 6point and a 4point. The 6 point walked through a shallow pond behind me and I drew back when his head was behind a tree. He took a few steps forward and ran up a small incline. He was slightly quartered towards me and I shot him through the shoulder a little far forward. Luckily the NAP killzone with the trophy tip punched through him. 25 inches of the arrow went through before it snapped. There was excellent blood, including a few good sized puddles. I tracked for about 200 yards before I called my dad to come help me. We tracked him another 150 and kicked him up. We pulled out and are waiting to go back out.

Awesome, congrats! I am one year too old for the youth hunt, so I took my bow out for early doe and had some success as well.
