Thanks everyone! Wish it was more of a story to tell. Had a buddy invite me out to hunt a piece of ground with him. Took a climber in and set up in a pinch point between two corn fields. About 7 pm I saw a little 8 point come out so I turned the camera on to video him. As soon as I got the cam on the little buck, this guy stepped out behind him. I had pre-ranged my shooting lanes. He was standing at 39 yards. I wasn't sure where they were heading exactly so I took the opportunity in the small window I had to shoot. He was quartering away. Went in back of rib cage and blew out the opposite shoulder. He went 25-30 yards and piled up! Spent so much pre season time setting stands and clearing lanes. Have shooters on camera and I go to a new property and flat got lucky. I think I thanked my buddy probably 40 times before we got this guy loaded up in the truck! Pretty happy to have taken this buck and got the whole thing on video!
