It's been 8 years without a buck taken with my bow, but finally got my first bow buck. Shot him opening day after sitting 3 hours. No giant, but I'm thrilled, as 8 years driving 5 hours to the cabin numerous times each year without success was really starting to take a toll on me....started losing the drive of hunting, which I think about 365 days a year. Came in mowing my clover plot to the ground. Quite certain he's 3.5 given trail cam history. Bucks way up by us in northern wisconsin with no crop fields for 10 miles and harsh winters do not put on the size they otherwise would in other areas of the state and country.
Congrats, looks like a great buck! I would be thrilled for my first bow buck to even be close to that size!
Awesome job and congrats! A mod should move this to the bowhunting section...sadly more will view it there and that's deserved!
