Boom, one of the top deer pics this year so far I'd say. I'm going to guess upper 170's to low 180's gross and 5+ years old. Let us know what he scores after you lay him on the ground.
The first picture messes with my head and am mainly judging by pics 3 and 4. I think Covey is right, if not the biggest one of them. I am not real clear on some of the points, so will give ranges: Gross - 165" to 175" Net - 150" to 160" I did my best, but am not the most comfortable with my answer.
I think he'll net in the 150 range but scored non-typical, gross where everything counts I just feel he's way up there. I'm guessing top five of pics on the forum so far. He won't make Boon and width (or lack of) will not help him out but he's got really good mass, main beam length and tine length even at the brows. 10+ points adds to the total fast also. I was judging him based on a comparison with my OMG buck from 2013 who had a gross total of 184". This buck is very similar but also more uniform from what I could tell. Pic 5 was the best IMO. No matter how you look at it that guy is a friggin beast....thanks for posting him.
the first pic is really a monkey wrench...going off that I'd say 145. All the other pics have him looking around 160...except pic 6 which makes him look close to 175! This is a tough one...so I'll split the difference and go with 160.
Thanks to everyone who's put in their opinions, just makes me look forward more to hunting season! Hopefully I can get him on the ground. I hope he's as big as he looks. The first time I checked cameras and saw him I was speechless for awhile. I can only imagine what I'll be like in the stand when he walks in front of me.
Don't put yourself through that emotional roller coaster ride. Just PM directions and I'll take care of him for you.
That's a great buck, but I'm not seeing anything grossing over mid 160s. I'll agree he is 5 or older, and he has great mass and beams. His tines aren't super long, but still in the 9 inch range. I also don't see just a ton of junk on him that will amount to much, but it's hard to tell from the pics. Regardless, that's a great deer and one I would shoot any day. Good luck getting him this fall! Edit: I looked at the pics again and I'm gonna change my answer. I didn't see the point on the inside of his left beam and didn't realize he was mainframe 10 instead of nine. I'm saying gross about 174.
