    Its 15 days early in Nebraska this year! Game and Parks changed the opening date from September 15th to September 1st this year. A month away! It'll be hot as hell and full of bugs, but I'll be in the treestand anyway!

    September is going to be a big month for me. September 15th is our wedding anniversary so that means a kick arse steak and a top notch bottle of wine, September 21st my son is due to be born, and then September 28th is our opening day. Not to mention football will be starting too.

    Oct. 1st for me here in IL. Harvest looks like it is going to start the last week of August-first week of Sept so opening day could be a good thing for me with alot of the deer being pushed out of the standing corn.
