Just got on a new lease/club here in Delaware, but have about 6 weeks till the opener to scout. Attached is a picture of the property. Top right is more farm land, bottom left is thicker woods.

    What are your thoughts?

At the top that little forest bubble that narrows down that field would be a good spot to start. Otherwise try and find a travel corridor on the right side of that forest edge between the two ag fields would be the first places I would look.

^ This! I like that top right side if you were looking at the pic right side up. Good place to start! Anything planted in those fields?

I think bgusty is thinking the same spot as I am. The top right corner where the field narrows and then gets wider again. The deer may/will use that to cross instead of going all the way around the field's edge.

Looks good!! I would find that place on Google and just study it as much as you can. Also go on places like MyTopo.com and see what the contours look like. If you have any questions about what to look for post them up, there are plenty here to lend a hand.

yes right now there are soybeans in that back kind of hidden field. In the front, more near the road, there are two small corn field planted. Thats what i was thinking, on either side of that little peninsula of trees where they almost touch with field in the middle. Gonna spend a lot of time out there this weekend.

    Thanks for the help!

I would scout that funnel at the top left of the picture.
