After having one of the least productive whitetail seasons last year, its tough to keep positive going through this incredibly long and harsh winter. I have a few photos through the season but I basically was hunting ghosts here in southwest Wisconsin. Today I got out and walked with my pup after a recent 8 more inches of snow to do some scouting and pull my cameras for a few weeks until it warms up to get them moved around to scout turkeys. I got this buck on camera and I haven't seen him since September. Makes me wonder where they go throughout the course of a season. I plan on doing some timber stand improvement and creating funnels and bedding areas this spring and summer to help aid in keeping mature bucks on the small parcel my parents own.
