1st time in the Stand this Saturday

Season opened here in Tennessee last weekend but couldn't go, so this Saturday will kick off the season. Got a couple of pretty goods ones on camera and several bear pictures. I'm in an area that you can shoot a bear during archery season. What do you all think if a good shot presents it self should I take it?

I like bear meat.

 

I've never had bear meat but I'd try it. Shoot it if u want to control the population or want meat or a trophy. But keep in mind the expense of butcher, skin treatment, skull cleaning, etc. if not just watch him walk and enjoy the experience. have fun!

 

Absolutely. I've never got one before I think I would prefer a big bear over a buck this year( but I will be greedy and hope for both).

I wish PA bear season came in sooner. I have so much trouble with the bears at camp but i can't take off during the season. I would take a shot if i was able to for sure. Good Luck this season. Shoot straight and stay safe
